My name is Rick Schue, an associate member since 2004 and a director for the past several years. While I’ve had a German auto of one brand or another in the garage for the past 40 years, a BMW was the last to join the fleet. My wife wandered into the local BMW dealer in 2004 looking for a replacement for the aging family mini-van and discovered the X3. It was the only small SUV on the market with a 6-speed manual, so the purchase decision was a no-brainer. It’s been a great fun-to-drive car, but more importantly it led us to join the Hoosier BMW Car Club which in turn introduced us to a great group of car fanatics that love to drive and track their cars.
